"I have delivered thousands of babies during my 30+ year career. The process of bringing a baby into the world is such an awe-inspiring event, and I always felt so honored to be part of these joyous occasions in my patients' lives. I watched families grow, and even some of the daughters I delivered started coming to me before heading off to college.
But as my patients aged, so did I, and the focus of my practice shifted from babies to midlife concerns, perimenopause and menopause.
The issues that face midlife women are complex, and I want to have the time to address all facets of health at this time in a woman's life, something that cannot be done in the routine 15, or even 30-minute, well-woman exam.
That is why I started this practice, so that each of my patients gets the individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care they deserve." ~Beverly Joyce, MD

Before we close, we will set the priorities for the follow-up visits and schedule them.
Follow-up visits:
The 30-minute follow-up visits are to review your symptoms and see how the strategy is working for you.
